Mishelle is also continuing to provide beautiful grooming of all sizes of poodles, as well as teaching the grooming classes. Classes are all one-on-one classes, and your poodle gets groomed at the same time for less than many groomers charge. $75.00 for a pet clip class of approximately 4 hours, 4 hour show grooming class $75.00/session for a miniature, $90.00 per session for a standard. For those who want to fly in and take a complete show grooming class - 3 days of class: miniature $275.00, standards $375.00. This includes staying in our motor home, but does not include meals. Classes will be approximately 6 hours per day.
MISHELLE WILL NOT BE DOING SHOW HANDLING FOR ANYONE FROM JANUARY 2011 ON, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
SHE WILL PUT SHOW DOGS INTO PATTERN (POODLES ONLY), AND ASSIST YOU IN LEARNING TO DO YOUR OWN SHOW GROOMING, AND ASSIST YOU WITH THE SCISSORING UNTIL YOUR SKILLS DEVELOP ENOUGH TO DO YOUR OWN.
****YOU MUST CALL OR E-MAIL 6-8 WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO SCHEDULE GROOMING - WE DO NOT HAVE GROOMING ASSISTANTS. MISHELLE IS THE ONLY GROOMER AND YOUR POODLE GETS THE UTMOST CARE WHILE HERE. WE TRAIN ALL OF OUR POODLES TO GROOM LYING DOWN FOR AS MUCH OF THE GROOMING AS POSSIBLE, TO REDUCE STRESS TO THEM AND THE GROOMER, AND FOR OWNERS WHO GROOM THEIR OWN POODLES THE REST OF THE TIME. MANY OF OUR FAMILIES DO THEIR OWN GROOMING FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND WILL HAVE MISHELLE PUT THEM BACK INTO PATTERN, OR CHANGE A PATTERN FOR THEM, OR HAVE THEM GROOMED WHILE HERE FOR BOARDING.
GROOMING & CLASSES INCLUDE:
1ST CLASS: TOENAILS, EAR PLUCKING & CLEANING, CLEANING TEETH WHEN NEEDED, BATHING & DRYING, EMPTYING ANAL GLANDS, AND CLEAN CLIPPING THE GENITAL AREAS. FOR 1ST CLASS CLIPPING IN A PUPPY CLIP, OR KENNEL (SPORTING) CLIP, AS WELL AS WHAT WE CONSIDER THE BEST SUPPLIES.
2ND CLASS: USUALLY FOR THE OLDER PUPPY GOING INTO COAT CHANGE: DEMATTING TECHNIQUES AND SUPPLIES, ADVANCED SCISSORING TECHNIQUES FOR DIFFERENT STYLES.

Puppy Litters Grooming & Training: We must be called to get a litter on the schedule the week the puppies are born, especially if you want us to do all three grooming training sessions.
